Specialising in helping female entrepreneurs find balance & success
Hi, I’m Eloise Elford
I never thought I’d end up running a business, even though I got a first-class business degree and loved it.
Before starting out on my own, I worked for the local council in their child employment team during COVID, and it was a pretty miserable time. I was stuck at home, hardly connected with anyone except for a Friday team call. The pay was low, and I felt trapped doing the same things every day. So, I decided to go back to nannying—a job I’d done since I was 17/18 and also alongside my degree—while I figured out what to do next.
Over my seven years of nannying, working with about 40 families, one thing really stood out: parents were overstretched and struggling to keep up with everything. I wasn’t just a nanny; I’d listen to parents' vent, help them set up routines, and always went above and beyond to take the pressure off them. Sure, I loved working with the kids, but the real satisfaction came from knowing I was helping parents be able to go to work and more importantly focus on work, knowing their kids were safe and their home was in good hands. I didn't want them to have to choose and by helping them take things off their plate, it supported them to find a better balance.
My focus on work-life balance isn't trendy—it's driven by a genuine desire to address these pressures and be part of the needed change.
My dissertation at university focused on mothers returning to work after maternity leave, where I interviewed 10 mothers about their experiences.
I learnt that parents work not just for financial reasons but because they love what they do and crave mental stimulation. However, flexible working often carries an unwritten expectation to make up time, pushing work into weekends and evenings.
It's clear society doesn't support working parents enough.
After doing some research, I realised it wasn’t just parents feeling burnt out—loads of people were, thanks to the demands of modern life.
One in five workers (20%) needed to take time off due to poor mental health caused by pressure or stress in the past year.
OneCom found that 1 in 10 mums set up their own business after maternity leave because they couldn’t get the flexibility they needed.
Working for yourself isn’t always the answer—late nights, squeezing in work during family time, and never being able to switch off.
I’ve always loved helping people (seven years of nannying says it all!), so I started looking into PA roles. But I also wanted flexibility, the chance to work with different businesses, and a job that fit with my health needs. That’s when I realised I could create that job for myself, so I started my own business.
Three years ago, I wrote in my journal that I wanted a remote job that paid well, let me help people, and gave me the freedom to take at least four weeks off a year. Now, I’ve built a business that ticks all those boxes and more.
What makes my services different is how I work with you. I don’t just tick tasks off a to-do list. When we work together, I dive in and treat your business like it’s my own—getting hands-on with strategy, event planning, managing team members, and brainstorming ideas.
That’s why I’ve stopped offering ad-hoc work. Real progress happens when I’m consistently involved, helping me truly get to know your business, spot potential issues early, and fix things before they become a problem—just like you would.
But it’s not just about the practical support.
I genuinely care about you, your needs, and your success. I’m here for the good times and when shit hits the fan, so you always have someone reliable by your side. Beyond the corporate experience, my nannying days taught me problem-solving and flexibility, along with a deep understanding of the unique challenges women, especially mums, face.
I’m here to Provide the support YOU need.
The support I offer is flexible because I know life, especially for mums, is unpredictable. Some days, you need full business support; other days, you’re juggling meetings and feeling swamped by your family’s to-do list. I’m here to help you manage it all without judgement, shame or embarrassment.
I’m more than admin support, I’m your right-hand woman.
Consider me your business cheerleader. I’ll get to know you, your quirks, and how you like to work, so I can support you in a way that really fits. You spend so much time giving to everyone else, and I’m here to give back to you.
And honestly, I believe work should be fun.
I love a good laugh (if you have a sarcastic sense of humour too, we’ll be besties), enjoy getting to know those little details about you, and I’m passionate about what I do. I’m all about finding that work-life balance, and I’m always open about my own journey with it too.
Apart from being an older sister - once a mother hen always a mother hen - I’m a generator (human design). We’re the natural 'doers'—we have boundless energy, love getting things done, and are all about living life to the fullest.
We’re the worker bees, driven by that powerful life force energy. This explains why I’m so passionate about what I do. Helping others, staying busy, and getting things done feels second nature to me.
I’m here to lift people up and keep everything running smoothly, and I’m fortunate to have built a business that allows me to do just that every day.
